Did you know? Many Quebecers receive financial assistance for their renovation projects. Why not take advantage of it too?
The Government of Quebec’s Rénoclimat program, whose financial assistance was increased on the 1st of May 2024, encourages Quebecers to carry out energy-efficient renovations. These renovations must aim to reduce your home’s energy consumption while making it more comfortable. And good news: the program covers door and window replacement!
How does it work? We invite you to visit the Rénoclimat website for more details, exclusions and the most up-to-date information. Here’s a summary: The program offers $150 per rough opening, provided the door or window is ENERGY STAR certified, like most of our products! The new door or window must also be installed in an existing rough opening. The program excludes garage doors and windows.
Keep in mind that the program’s goal is to reduce energy consumption. Projects that are too small to significantly improve your home’s EnerGuide rating, such as replacing only a few windows, could be rejected by the program.
See the Rénoclimat Participant Guide to understand everything about how the program works. Important to know: you must keep your ENERGY STAR stickers and all your invoices to show the advisor who will visit to assess your project.
For your door and window replacement projects, think Roberge and its ENERGY STAR certified products! Start shopping now or visit a dealer that carries Roberge Portes et Fenêtres.
