First, the doors are equipped with a thermal break and a door sweep designed to prevent water and air infiltration. The weatherstripping assembly ensures a watertight seal and achieves an A3 air infiltration rating.
In addition, the double weatherstripping system is designed to withstand the winter cold: it’s magnetic on the handle side and at the head, provides compression on the hinge side, and includes a Polyflex membrane on all 3 sides. You’ll also find brush weatherstripping strategically placed at the bottom of the door.
