Gatineau – For the 5th year in a row, Roberge Portes et Fenêtres is providing tangible support to the Maison communautaire Daniel-Johnson in Gatineau. This year, the company, which has a storefront in Gatineau, is providing jackets worth more than $1,600 for the house’s staff and volunteers.
“After having our outdoor dining shelter rebuilt, buying toy kits for our clients, having gardens built so we can grow our own vegetables and replacing a good part of our furniture, this year Simon Gaignard and his company Roberge Portes et Fenêtres are giving us distinctive custom-made jackets for our people. As we’ve said before and will say again, thank you to the employees of Roberge Portes et Fenêtres and to Simon. With allies like you, we can take a little more care of our people,” said Rachel Larocque, Director of the Maison communautaire Daniel-Johnson.
It’s worth remembering that it was during the major tornado of 2018 that Roberge Portes et Fenêtres offered its help to the Maison Daniel-Johnson in Gatineau. In addition to suffering major damage, its clientele had also been through difficult events.
“5 years already; time has flown by. Once again this year, the Maison communautaire Daniel-Johnson, its director Rachel and all the citizens involved in the neighbourhood house can count on us. In these tougher times, we want to give back to the community. Helping our friends live better,” added Simon Gaignard, President of Roberge.
