Are you eligible for grants to replace your doors and windows? It’s worth checking, because you could save big! For example, the grant can reimburse up to $600 for your pre- and post-renovation EnerGuide evaluations and up to $5,000 for your ENERGY STAR certified doors and windows.
To register, visit the website of the program (link to https://www.rncan.gc.ca/efficacite-energetique/efficacite-energetique-maisons/subvention-canadienne-pour-des-maisons-plus-vertes/23445) and select the button at the bottom, “Register for the Greener Homes Initiative”
Here are the steps you need to follow:
- Register using the program link above
- Sign in with your banking partner or GCKey
- Follow the suggested steps
- Wait until the “before” evaluation has been completed.
- Have your ENERGY STAR doors and windows installed
- Keep the ENERGY STAR labels from your products
- Return to the program website to book a post-installation evaluation.
