Moving in worry-free: doors and windows

Table of Contents

Just moved and want to make sure you inspect your new place properly? Here’s our short checklist to help you properly assess the condition of the doors and windows in your new home, so you can better plan your renovations.

–     Check the locks and deadbolts on your doors. If they’re damaged or don’t seem to work, replacing them will help ensure the security of your new home.

–     We can never say enough about insulation! Not only for your comfort but especially for your wallet, checking that your windows are airtight is something you shouldn’t overlook.

–     Test them. Make sure your doors and windows open and close properly. While you’re at it, check their frames.
